Thank you so much for supporting the Global Sepsis Alliance, World Sepsis Day, and the fight against sepsis throughout 2017.

2017 was a very exciting year for sepsis awareness; the WHA adopted a groundbreaking resolution on sepsis, which will save countless of lives all over the globe, we joined forces with the WHO to bring you the free online congress 'WSC Spotlight: Maternal and Neonatal Sepsis' on September 12th, we celebrated a widely covered World Sepsis Day with numerous events on all continents, created a video making sepsis comprehendable in 3-minutes (not an easy task) and launched completely redesigned websites for the Global Sepsis Alliance and World Sepsis Day, making it easier for you to find what you are looking for.
We also redesigned the logo of the GSA, grew significantly in members, and (a little) in sponsors. Throughout the year, we again awarded major achievements in the fight against sepsis with the Global Sepsis Awards, supported by the Erin Kay Flatley Memorial Foundation.
Connecting with you, our supporters, is incredibly important to us, and that is why we held a total of four supporter meetings on three continents for you this year; at ISICEM in Brussels in March, at ECCC in Dubai in April, at ESICM in Vienna in September, and at the 13th World Congress in Rio in November. We are also looking forward to engage with you on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and regular old email.

We would like to thank all our supporters, colleagues, friends, volunteers, members, and partners for a very successful 2017. We wish everybody happy holidays and a good start into 2018, as well as health, happiness, and prosperity.
We already have some very exciting things planned for 2018, so stay tuned...

We appreciate if you support the GSA and the World Sepsis Day Movement by donating to our cause.
